Sunfish Services – Fire Systems Specialists

Client Overview

Sunfish Services is an East Midlands based Fire Systems, CCTV & Access Control installation and management company. They install, maintain and repair fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems and much more. Their office is located in Melbourne, Derbyshire which is the base for their strong team of engineers and installers. They also have a Cambridge office. Visibility has worked with John and his team since 2019 and have completed projects for their sister company Fire Trade Supplies too.


Website launched

The Brief

Although we work with Sunfish Services on other marketing channels, this case study focuses on the website build and launch in 2021. The design and development team at Visibility were tasked with improving the overall experience of potential customers for Sunfish Services. It was recognised that despite business growth since 2003, that a website refresh would be able to support further growth. Our aim was to clearly explain all areas of the business to the customer.

Their core objectives were:

  • Improve UX and UI
  • Make the website into a lead generation device
  • Fully explain the breath of services

The Strategy

To be able to design and develop a website that is as effective as possible, it was important to understand the target audience. Demographics we considered included:

  • Job Titles
  • Organisation size
  • Messaging
  • Core services

2. Design

As with all websites we develop, there is a process of design in which our team takes the clients brief and creates a number of different layouts and designs to match the objectives of the website. The client has the chance to take a look at all the designs, decide which elements they like from each design and a final design is created.

3. Development

This process involves our development team taking the design and the brief and making it reality. We keep our clients updated and give them time to feedback at various stages once the website has started to become more reality. It’s always better to see the website in the live form to be able to provide the best feedback.

4. Migration & Launch

We worked with the client to choose the most suitable launch date for them and developed our strategy of migration. To avoid any losses in rankings in the search engines, it’s important to instruct an SEO specialist to create a migration plan for developers to implement when setting a new website live.
