Kraft Werks is a craft beer specialist bar and online shop. They stock hundreds of craft beers from all over the world – their bar is based in Sherwood, Nottingham and they sell throughout the UK with their online shop.

The Brief

The team at Kraft Werks approached us to help support them to increase footfall into their physical location as well as increase the amount of relevant traffic to their website’s online shop.

The Strategy

Given the extent of their beer range, it was important to first establish which product lines were to be a priority. With any online store, priority is usually defined by a number of factors, include:

  • Stock Levels
  • Profit Margin
  • Old Stock
  • Seasonality
  • Existing Best Sellers
  • Demand / Keyword Search Volume

To be able to establish a solid plan going forward, once the above has been agreed – extensive keyword research is necessary. Analysing the current keywords, looking at competitors keywords, using keyword research tools to find more opportunities is all part of the keyword research process.

The keywords for each product range are then separated creating a core number of keywords which are relevant for the products sold. This keywords can be used to create content which is related to the product terms to drive traffic through search engines such as Google and Bing.
